Here in beautiful Portland, Oregon the Fall is turning to Winter, and the gray days of misty rain have begun. If this sounds dreary, then you’re not picturing a scene of friends toasting to inspiration, creativity and dreams while listening to albums on the front steps of a cool night. It’s a magical time of social activity with boiling crock pots, cold beers and as always, music.

We’re close to wrapping the new set and going in to record. Stop by any of our occasional shows to say hello! See you there or in the afterlife for the encore.

Fall Forward

October brings us to the rounding of the year. We’re continuing to build the set & prepare for recording. The month of October is filled with more social events than any other of the year, I believe.

The summer arc is comes to a close. We’ve secured the talents of some great Portland musicians and are hard at work rehearsing our own new song list for an upcoming album, and playing around the area. As a bonus today, we’re listing a demo single. Look for the finished version of this in our shows and on the upcoming release.

We’ve been notified that the OPB Music radio show will be airing our studio session and interview on July 11th. You can check out video/audio of the session on their in-studio page starting on July 9th. It was a fun set, we enjoyed it. Hopefully when we release the new album we’ll be back to play some more for them.

Hello everyone, hope you’re adjusting to the new website. We’re working on the new look and hope to arrive at something soon.

In other news, we’ve been brainstorming new ideas and sounds for the upcoming album-length release. Of course, we have our goals and the sound we want, but look for demos, ideas and concepts to occasionally float here. We’re going to pick up the tempo, but also add a bit of tension and interest to the narrative that David forms lyrically, something he excels at.

Send us comments, snippets, photos, etc. Inspiration really does feed from the audience, and we’re eternally grateful to our loyal fans who come to the shows and more.

OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) recently hosted Padre Pio for a short set and interview to air in a couple of weeks.
